Notice Regarding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
In accordance with Section 1002.421(1)(j), Florida Statutes, families should be aware of the following important provision:
A student with a disability who is parentally placed in a private school does not have an individual entitlement to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would otherwise receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
